JLB is seeking a Category Manager to support Target with analytics, planograms, and strategic recommendations. You will lead cross-functional collaboration, manage weekly reports, and develop executive-ready insights that shape category initiatives.

The role blends analytics, presentation, and leadership to guide short- and long-term plans, leveraging data from multiple sources and delivering clear narratives to Target’s buying team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
• 6+ years in retail or brand background.
• 3+ years in Category Advisor or Captainship is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Independently manages day-to-day relationships with Target and cross-functional teams.
• Owns end-to-end reporting, delivering weekly performance insights.
• Conducts marketplace analyses and provides strategic recommendations.
• Executes category and seasonal reviews with actionable insights.
