Job summary

Sabre, a leading AI-native technology company in travel, seeks a Principal Category Manager to own third‑party services categories with a focus on Professional Services and Labor. You will guide supplier selection, complex redlines, contract lifecycle planning, and risk assessment across global units.

You will collaborate with Legal, Risk, Security, and executive stakeholders to drive efficiencies and strategic sourcing opportunities, leveraging SAP and Coupa to optimize workflows.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, or supply chain with category expertise in Professional Services.
• Experience designing and executing RFx processes, negotiations, and redlines.
• Hands-on with ERP, Contract Management, and Purchasing systems such as SAP or Coupa.
• Proven cross-functional alignment with Legal, Risk, Security, and executive partners.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end procurement lifecycle for third-party services, including intake, pipeline, negotiations, pricing, and redlining.
• Perform spend analyses and market intelligence to capture cost savings and efficiencies.
• Coordinate risk assessment with Legal, Risk, Compliance, and Security partners to remove barriers.
• Advise business stakeholders on category trends, sourcing paths, and risk mitigation.
• Partner with leadership to standardize workflows and leverage SAP and Coupa to reduce friction.
