Job summary

Eastern University seeks an Assistant Director for the Center for Career Development to deliver comprehensive career services to students and alumni across programs. Qualifications

• 3–5 years of progressively responsible experience in higher education, career development, or related field.
• Familiarity with Colleague, Brightspace (D2L), Handshake, Zoom, and other career services platforms.
• Strong interpersonal communication, cultural competency, and ability to engage diverse student populations.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends to support programming and campus events.

Responsibilities

• Provide hybrid (in-person and virtual) career coaching for students and alumni.
• Promote internship opportunities and practical experiences for participants.
• Maintain and update online career resources; document interactions in Handshake.
• Educate students and alumni on responsible and effective use of AI in career activities.
