Job summary

Seaboard Overseas and Trading Group (SOTG), a division of Seaboard Corporation, seeks a senior procurement leader to drive strategic sourcing, CAPEX projects, and value creation across affiliates. You will partner with Engineering, Operations, Finance, and leadership to deliver procurement excellence and sustainable business value.

Ideal candidates have 8–15+ years in strategic sourcing, CAPEX procurement, and cross-functional leadership, with Lean Six Sigma or PMP/CPSM/CSCP certifications

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, procurement, business, engineering, operations management or related field.
• 8–15+ years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, capital projects, or related leadership roles.
• Demonstrated experience leading CAPEX sourcing and large-scale project procurement initiatives.
• Experience managing cross-functional projects and driving organizational impacts.
• Lean Six Sigma, Continuous Improvement, PMP, CPSM, CSCP, or equivalent certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify, lead and support cross-functional procurement transformation projects from initiation through implementation.
• Support AI, reporting, automation, and digital transformation initiatives in procurement.
• Guide project teams through all phases of the capital project lifecycle from planning to implementation.
• Develop and govern a portfolio of value creation initiatives focused on cost savings, working capital improvement, supplier innovation, and risk reduction.
• Establish and manage a Value Creation Pipeline to ensure continuous opportunities and results.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to simplify processes and improve productivity across procurement.
• Leverage data-driven problem solving and Lean Six Sigma to create scalable improvements.
• Design standardized procurement processes, governance frameworks, tools, and best practices across affiliates.
• Develop training programs and workshops to strengthen sourcing, procurement, project management, and continuous improvement capabilities.
