Job summary

The University of Chicago seeks a Capital Planning Manager to lead multi-year capital planning, assess facility conditions, and oversee AE and cost consultants. You will align planning with the FCA program, support funding approvals, and transition projects to CPD after funding.

As a hands-on manager, you will provide technical support, develop ROM estimates, and maintain a University cost database to benchmark projects across the campus.

Responsibilities

• Develop multi-year capital plan (5-year) under director guidance.
• Manage annual FS capital budgeting and project prioritization.
• Coordinate budget requests, risk assessments and approvals.
• Lead consultants to deliver scope, schedules and cost estimates.
• Maintain cost database and benchmarking data for budgeting.
