Job summary

Lyft is seeking a senior political campaigns strategist and operational leader to drive national and local policy campaigns, including legislative advocacy and ballot initiatives, while guiding Lyft’s political giving strategy and PAC management. You will report to the Director of Campaigns and work across Policy, Communications, Legal, Product, and Marketing teams to advance Lyft’s policy mission.

Qualifications

• Five+ years in political campaigns, legislative advocacy, PAC activities, or related fields.
• Demonstrated expertise in campaign finance law and compliance.
• Proven track record building and scaling corporate PAC programs and political giving operations.
• Strong understanding of political strategy, budgeting, and cross-functional collaboration.
• Experience managing relationships with elected officials, political committees, and fundraising networks.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Campaign Development & Management with cross-functional collaboration across Policy, Communications, Legal, Product, and Marketing teams.
• Lead political giving strategy and PAC operations; align with business priorities.
• Oversee campaigns with timelines and budgets; act as a thought leader on political tactics.
• Represent Lyft on policy coalitions and external partnerships; build third-party support.
• Lead quarterly state and local political giving cycles, including planning, approvals, execution, and tracking.
