Job summary

The Armor Group is seeking a procurement professional responsible for the strategic sourcing of qualified vendors, negotiating annual agreements and one-time deals, executing purchase orders, and building strong vendor relationships.

Key duties include negotiating contracts and OEM pricing, managing sourcing for machined and fabricated parts, electrical components, pumps and enclosures, ensuring on-time delivery, and coordinating freight with Mason, OH operations while maintaining open PO

Qualifications

Experience in strategic sourcing and vendor management.
Ability to negotiate contracts and payment terms.
Familiarity with ERP systems and procurement tools.
Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills.
Proven track record of delivering on-time supplier performance.

Responsibilities

Negotiate contracts, payment terms, and OEM pricing.
Manage sourcing for machined and fabricated parts, electrical components, pumps, enclosures, power transmission parts, heat exchangers, and other commercial-type parts.
Build a qualified vendor base and expand industry expertise.
Conduct supplier prequalification and surveillance audits.
Ensure on-time delivery of parts to support production and manage open PO reporting.
