bioMérieux is seeking a Buyer to collaborate with Category/ Purchasing leaders to define and implement purchasing strategies for assigned categories. You will support site-level operations, manage local suppliers, ensure contract compliance, and maintain SAP data to keep supplier files audit-ready.

The role involves negotiating agreements, processing orders, and driving supplier performance and continuous improvements across the organization, with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or Economics.
• 2+ years of experience in Purchasing/Procurement, category management, strategic sourcing, or related fields.

Responsibilities

• Supports and communicates the assigned purchasing category strategies and drive strategy implementation locally.
• Lead cross functional team to define commodity strategies under their responsibility.
• Negotiate agreements; process purchase orders; contract administration; manage supplier performance and changes.
• Develop and manage Supplier Panels; lead supplier approval with Quality and Business Partners.
• Implement regular Supplier Performance reviews and corrective action follow-ups.
• Lead negotiations with suppliers on yearly QCD targets; coordinate management reviews and strategic product/market development.
