Job summary

BioMerieux Inc. is seeking a Buyer to collaborate with Category/ Purchasing leaders to define and implement category strategies across the company.

The role includes managing local supply bases, contract compliance, supplier performance, and SAP data integrity, with emphasis on audit-ready supplier files and contract administration. The successful candidate will support site-level operations, lead commodity strategies in collaboration with managers, negotiate agreements, and drive cost

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Admin, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or Economics is required.
• 2+ years of Purchasing/Procurement and category management experience, including internships or apprenticeships.

Responsibilities

• Support category strategies and drive local implementation.
• Lead cross-functional teams to define commodity strategies.
• Negotiate agreements and manage contracts and supplier performance.
• Develop and manage supplier panels and approvals with QA/Business Partners.
• Lead supplier performance reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Handle Opex POs and end-to-end purchasing processes from sourcing to delivery.
