Job summary

Nassco, Inc. is seeking an experienced Buyer to own assigned product categories, manage a large supplier base, and ensure inventory health and strong margins.

The role involves placing purchase orders, negotiating terms, and solving supply challenges while shaping category direction for our customers and sales teams. You will work cross-functionally with Sales, Customer Service, and Supply Chain, analyze market trends, and proactively manage inventory levels, GMROI, and fill rates to improve

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related field; or 5+ years of related experience in lieu of degree.
• Experience purchasing and sourcing within a distribution environment.

Responsibilities

• Own assigned product categories and manage supplier base to ensure inventory health and solid margins.
• Place purchase orders and negotiate terms with vendors to meet company goals.
