Job summary

MasterSpas is seeking a Buyer to keep production moving by ensuring the right materials arrive on time and at the right cost. You’ll influence supplier relationships, negotiate terms, and analyze data to drive cost savings and efficiency across manufacturing operations.

This full-time role offers collaboration with Production, Inventory, and leadership to optimize purchasing strategies while supporting a company with nearly 30 years of experience in helping people Live Life Better.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience in purchasing, supply chain, inventory management or manufacturing.
• Strong Excel and MS Office skills.

Responsibilities

• Research and purchase quality materials that keep production moving.
• Build long-term relationships with suppliers based on trust and collaboration.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and agreements that create value for both MasterSpas and our partners.
• Evaluate supplier performance and identify opportunities to improve cost, quality, and service.
• Process purchase orders accurately and efficiently.
• Track orders from placement through delivery.
• Resolve shortages, backorders, and supply issues before they impact production.
• Coordinate transportation and communicate order updates across the organization.
• Analyze inventory levels, supplier lead times, and production demand.
• Forecast future needs with Inventory, Production, and department leaders.
• Make informed purchasing decisions that balance cost, availability, and operational efficiency.
• Look for ways to simplify purchasing processes and reduce waste.
• Recommend improvements that strengthen inventory management and supplier performance.
• Participate in projects that help MasterSpas continue growing and improving.
