Job summary

Chromalox, part of Electrical Thermal Solutions (ETS), invites you to join our La Vergne, TN team as a Buyer. You will manage procurement of raw materials, equipment, tools and production supplies, partnering with suppliers and internal teams to keep materials flowing to meet production schedules and customer demand.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's degree, familiarity with MRP/JDE, and experience with cost/price analysis, vendor negotiations, and contract reviews.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field; APICS CPIM preferred.
• Knowledge of ERP systems and MRP experience required.
• Strong negotiation, analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Plans replenishments using ERP/MRP; negotiates expediting as needed.
• Approves invoices and coordinates with AP on discrepancies.
• Interfaces with vendors for price, availability and delivery schedules.
• Ensures timely ordering and delivery of materials and supplies.
• Develops long-term procurement strategies for savings.
