Atkore is seeking a Buyer II based in Pueblo, Colorado to manage timely purchase orders, negotiate better pricing and terms, and maintain inventory to support production and customer requirements. The role reports to the Plant Manager and requires strong collaboration with suppliers and internal teams.

Ideal candidates will have 5+ years of purchasing experience in manufacturing, familiarity with SAP or JDE, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Qualificações

• 5+ years of purchasing experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems such as SAP or JDE preferred.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Proficient in Excel and data analysis.

Responsabilidades

• Research and issue purchase orders to suppliers with best value, delivery, and quality.
• Ensure PO accuracy and optimal delivery and pricing per company policies.
• Maintain planning data attributes in the ERP/MRP system for accurate MRP runs.
• Monitor inventory levels to meet business needs and improve efficiency.
• Negotiate pricing, quality, and contracts with suppliers with Corporate Material Manager.
• Prepare and present reports and analytics with high accuracy.
