Job summary

Nikkiso Clean Energy & Industrial Gases, based in Santa Ana, CA, is seeking a procurement professional to manage source selection, RFx creation, and supplier relations. Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• Two+ years' experience in a similar position.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365.
• Experience with ERP systems (Manfact or similar) is required.
• Database system knowledge strongly preferred.
• Team-based approach.

Responsibilities

• Responds to demand using ERP software.
• Create RFx packages.
• Assist in researching prospective suppliers.
• Negotiate price and delivery schedules with vendors.
• Award vendors based on capability, price, and risk.
• Monitor orders in ERP and company systems.
• Expedite orders and visit vendors as needed.
• Track off-site testing with the project team.
• Review orders and certifications with quality team.
• Ensure open items are cleared in ERP to aid Accounts Payable.
• Assist in vendor review for supply chain compatibility.
• Provide weekly status reports to Purchasing Manager.
• Attend meetings and contribute insights.
• Participate in workshops and training events.
