MJ Recruiters, LLC seeks a Strategic Buyer to drive sourcing strategies, analytics, and procurement for a fast-paced manufacturer in Bellevue, OH. You will manage supplier relationships, forecast needs, and optimize value across cost, quality, and lead times.

The role emphasizes collaboration with a senior leader, ensuring cross-functional coverage and a stable supply chain while supporting a culture that values long-term growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; experience may substitute.
• 2–3 years in strategic buyer role in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience purchasing direct materials; MRO procurement is a plus.
• Experience with inventory management and cycle counts.
• ERP systems experience and advanced Excel skills (charts, formulas, macros).
• Strong analytical and negotiation abilities.

Responsibilities

• Strategically source materials and analyze market trends to optimize value.
• Convert requisitions to POs and manage RFQ processes with controls.
• Reconcile invoices and maintain audit-ready procurement records.
• Coordinate inventory, cycle counts, and interdepartment transfers.
• Cross-train with other buyers to ensure operational continuity.
• Support travel and administrative tasks as needed.
