Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in purchasing, contract negotiation, or material planning.
• Experience with procurement for electrical equipment in utility/grid operations.
• Familiarity with global sourcing and various contracting models.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Support strategic supplier analysis to shape sourcing strategy and cost optimization.
• Help manage the supply base with a supplier management playbook and contracts.
• Evaluate and select suppliers based on capability, quality, reliability and price.
• Develop and monitor supplier scorecards and KPIs.
• Track performance metrics and sourcing trends against budget.
• Coordinate with project management, engineering firms and quality teams to address rejected material.
• Use sourcing software to manage requests and gather market intelligence.
