Job summary

ABB in the US is seeking a procurement professional to lead end-to-end purchasing, supplier scheduling, PO administration, and delivery tracking onsite. You will ensure compliance with policies, optimize inventory, and support production demand while minimizing stockouts and obsolescence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 0-2 years OR Associate’s degree with 4+ years of supply chain, planning, purchasing, or related experience.
• Strong Microsoft Office experience: Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Advanced Excel.
• Proficiency in SAP, Power BI supporting engineering change implementation and material planning processes.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end procurement and planning activities, including material ordering, supplier scheduling, purchase order administration, delivery tracking, invoice reconciliation, and compliance with company policies, contractual terms, and legal requirements.
• Develop and execute inventory and replenishment strategies to ensure material availability, maintain optimal inventory levels, support production and customer demand, and minimize stock-outs, excess, and obsolete inventory.
• Build and maintain strong supplier relationships, monitor supplier performance in quality, delivery, lead time, sustainability, and cost, and proactively resolve supply, quality, non-conformance, and claims issues to ensure uninterrupted operations.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with suppliers, engineering, manufacturing, and business stakeholders to align forecasts and S&OP plans, support engineering change implementation, manage inventory reconciliation and obsolescence reviews, and drive continuous improvement in supply chain performance.
