Job summary

Rolls-Royce Corporation in Indianapolis, IN invites applications for a Planning and Delivery Leader. This hybrid/onsite role is in-office 3 days per week and relocation is not available.

You will prepare, plan and control production schedules, coordinate material requirements and drive supplier relationships to meet delivery, quality and cost targets across cross-functional teams. Basic qualifications include a relevant degree with 0–4+ years in supply chain or operations depending on degree;

• Associates degree in Business, Engineering, Engineering Technology, Supply Chain or Operations with 4+ years in supply chain/ops.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Engineering Technology, Supply Chain or Operations with 2+ years in supply chain/ops.
• Master’s degree in Business, Engineering, Engineering Technology, Supply Chain or Operations with 0+ years in supply chain/ops.
• JD/Ph.D. in lieu of a degree, 6+ years in supply chain/ops.

Responsibilities

• Maintain component planning data to cascade demand through the supply chain into a committed plan.
• Lead relationships with suppliers to coordinate planning, control, inventory, delivery and lead time.
• Understand load and capacity constraints within suppliers that may impact performance and delivery.
• Lead business reviews with suppliers to meet Rolls-Royce requirements considering quality, cost and delivery.
• Coordinate reviews with other functions as required.
• Manage delivery issues, report shortages, and recovery programs to meet the plan.
• Ensure paperwork and information transfer for part movements complies with regulatory requirements and resolve invoice queries.

Position Summary

As a PDL (Planning & Delivery Leader) for Rolls-Royce, you’ll play an integral role in the preparation, planning, issuing and controlling production schedules along with coordinating material requirements, to ensure a controlled flow for approved materials is timed to meet production. This is an exciting opportunity, as you’ll work with cross functional teams whilst also working to advise management of the status of work and work to overcome potential production obstacles.

What you will be doing:

• Ensuring the maintenance of component planning data and dynamic data that will enable cascade of demand through the supply chain resulting in a committed plan


• Being the primary interface and leading operational relationships with suppliers to lead and co-ordinate all improvement activity associated with planning, control, inventory, delivery and lead time


• Understanding Load and Capacity constraints within a supplier that may impact performance and delivery


• Leading business reviews with their suppliers ensuring that both the suppliers and Rolls-Royce requirements are being met considering the impact of Quality, total cost and Delivery on the supply chain team


• Ensuring the reviews are supported by other appropriate functions as required


• Managing and coordinating delivery issues, reporting shortages and recovery programmes to meet the plan. Manage the impact and upscale issues as required


• Ensuring paperwork and information transfer in relation to all part movements is compliant with business and regulatory requirements, and ensure resolution of unverified invoice queries relating to schedule changes and goods receipt and liaise with buyer to ensure resolution of any price blocked invoices

Who we’re looking for:

• An Associates degree in Business, Engineering, Engineering Technology, Supply Chain or Operations with 4+ years’ experience in a supply chain or operations environment OR A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Engineering Technology, Supply Chain or Operations with 2+ years’ experience in a supply chain or operations environment OR A Master’s degree in Business, Engineering, Engineering Technology, Supply Chain or Operations with 0+ years’ experience in a supply chain or operations environment OR JD/Ph.D. In lieu of a degree, 6+ years’ experience in a supply chain or operations environment

Pay Range

Pay ranges for remote employees are based on the state where the employee resides and may vary from the posted range. $84,351 - $137,071-Annually Location: Indianapolis, IN
