Job summary

UNC-Chapel Hill is seeking a Continuity & Resiliency Planner to develop and implement business continuity, recovery, and hazard mitigation programs across the university. The role writes and updates Continuity of Operations and Continuity of Government plans and leads efforts to identify critical processes and risks.

You will conduct threat/risk assessments, coordinate training, and partner with the Director of Emergency Management and Planning to ensure preparedness and rapid response during

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of training and experience.
• Experience with business continuity planning and hazard mitigation.
• Ability to analyze university operations and identify critical processes.
• Strong writing and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Write and update Continuity of Operations and Recovery Plans.
• Manage continuity and hazard mitigation programs.
• Develop emergency management training.
• Coordinate and guide revisions to plans and procedures.
• Work with the Director of EM to implement solutions.
• Maintain awareness of laws and regulations affecting the program.
