Job summary

Rivet Operations Company LLC is seeking a Business Analyst in the National Capital Region (Washington DC area) to bridge business stakeholders and technical teams, gathering requirements and analyzing data to strengthen portfolio governance and improve acquisition outcomes.

The role focuses on acquisition programs, contracts, and investments across CISA, delivering recommendations to align with operational needs and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 3–5 years of demonstrated experience in business analysis, process improvement, or corporate operations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Prior DHS experience with cybersecurity familiarity is desired.

Responsibilities

• Develop and document acquisition activities, system engineering activities, and supporting documentation for program decisions across acquisition pathways.
• Inventory existing IT and non-IT acquisition programs, contracts, systems, and investments across CISA.
• Develop assessment criteria to evaluate programs and investments for strategic alignment, business value, technical health, program health, and acquisition readiness.
• Support development of the portfolio governance process, including identifying stakeholders and documenting roles and responsibilities.
