Job summary

Rivet Operations Company LLC is seeking a Business Analyst to gather requirements and analyze data for the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency in the National Capital Region. The role bridges business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure software and systems meet operational needs and informs acquisition decisions.

Responsibilities include documenting activities across acquisition pathways, inventorying programs, and helping establish portfolio governance.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship and ability to pass a High-Risk Public Trust background investigation.
• Bachelor's degree related to the field.
• 3–5 years of experience in business analysis, process improvement or corporate operations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Prior DHS experience with cybersecurity familiarity desirable.

Responsibilities

• Bridge gaps between business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure software and systems meet operational needs.
• Develop and document acquisition activities, system engineering activities, and supporting documentation for program decisions.
• Inventory and assess IT and non-IT acquisition programs, contracts, systems, and investments.
• Support portfolio governance by identifying stakeholders and documenting roles and responsibilities.
