Responsibilities

• Directs and oversees operations within the logistics department.
• Develops logistics plans and procedures for inbound/outbound needs.
• Creates strategies and budgets to support company infrastructure.
• Ensures regulatory compliance with logistics requirements.
• Manages rail fleet, including rates and routing.
• Oversees distribution warehouses, bulk and packaged goods.
• Strives for lowest distribution costs and implements hub-and-spoke distribution.
• Maintains vendor relationships and cost-reduction initiatives.
• Interfaces with sales on RFPs and pricing freight elements.
• Collaborates with supply chain and finance on internal logistics.
