Lynker is seeking a sharp Business and Budget Analyst to provide full-time operational, financial, and administrative support for a long-term contract with the Space Weather Prediction Center (SWPC) in Boulder, CO. The role focuses on budget formulation, cost forecasting, compliance tracking, and financial monitoring, with procurement and contract administration duties.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of relevant experience, strong analytical skills, and attention

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 3+ years of relevant professional experience.
• Knowledge of budgeting regulations and procedures to support budget creation, execution, and forecasting.
• Proven experience tracking spending, reviewing financial data, and performing variance analysis.
• Detail-oriented, well-organized, and able to work with diverse teams.

Responsibilities

• Budgeting and financial analysis support: forecast, prepare, formulate, present, and monitor costs across portfolios and contracts.
• Cost estimation and long-range planning: compile data to estimate future costs for programs.
• Compliance and proposal review: assess proposals for compliance with laws and agency regulations.
• Procurement, grants, and contract administration support: draft, track procurement actions, reimburseable agreements, and grants; support contract deliverables.
