Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, accounting, finance, or related field.
• Five years of professional-level budgeting, financial planning, and forecasting experience.
• Three years of supervisory or team-leadership experience.
• CPA and/or MBA are desirable.
• Experience with Oracle Financials is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates the development and review of the financial plan.
• Supervises departmental Controllers and provides financial support.
• Participates in operating budget and forecast development.
• Provides strategic analytical support for special projects.
• Advises staff and management on budgeting issues.
• Directs fiscal year budget preparation within resource constraints.
• Monitors budget-to-actual performance and makes adjustments.
• Implements financial planning policies and procedures.
• Reviews GAAP changes and revises policies accordingly.
• Develops training programs to keep staff current.
• Interviews, selects, and disciplines subordinate staff.
