Job summary

Softthink Solutions is seeking a Financial Analyst to provide financial management and budget execution support for OIS and IRMD. The role assists with budget preparation, procurement requests, contract closeout, invoice validation, and financial reporting, ensuring accurate data and supporting burnrate reporting.

The analyst responds to inquiries, maintains cost status spreadsheets, and collaborates with managers to deliver timely financial insights in alignment with established processes.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of federal budget management and execution experience.
• Experience with financial tracking, reconciliations, and invoice validation.
• Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support budget preparation and execution activities.
• Validate invoices and ensure compliance with financial processes.
• Assist with procurement requests, payments, and contract closeout.
• Track and report budget status, including monthly burnrate summaries.
• Perform reconciliations and maintain accurate financial data.
• Respond to financial inquiries from managers and stakeholders.
• Support monthly progress reporting with cost status spreadsheets.
