Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and ten years of financial management experience, including gov finance, or an equivalent
• Master’s degree in business admin or finance preferred
• Equivalent combination of training and experience acceptable

Responsibilities

• Directs and manages the County’s comprehensive budget system across departments.
• Oversees debt management strategies and financial forecasting.
• Guides the Board of Supervisors through the annual budgeting process.
• Monitors expenditures and revenues and prepares amendments and quarterly reports.
• Coordinates bond issuances with the Financial Advisor and Bond Counsel.
