Job summary

Holy Name Medical Center in Hackensack, NJ seeks a strategic Director of Budget & Financial Planning to own the physician network budgets, build proformas, and lead multi-site forecasting with clinical leadership collaboration.

You will mentor two analysts, drive monthly variance reporting, and ensure alignment with system reporting standards while partnering with Finance and IT for system enhancements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration required.
• Master's degree (MBA, MHA) preferred.
• Experience with physician practice or ambulatory network finance required.
• CPA preferred and healthcare budgeting experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end budget process for physician practices, service lines, and departments.
• Develop operating budgets with volumes, staffing, and overhead projections.
• Produce monthly and quarterly variance reports with narratives for leadership.
• Maintain rolling forecasts and pro forma modeling for strategic initiatives.
• Collaborate with practice leadership to validate assumptions and financial performance.
• Coordinate with IT on financial systems, reporting tools, and data integration.
• Mentor and manage two direct reports: Financial Analyst and Payroll/Compensation Analyst.
• Align MSO and Finance reporting while providing insightful budget-to-actual analysis.
