Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a Financial Analyst for Budgets and Business Planning. You will plan, coordinate, and analyze the PSD network's budget and business plans, ensuring alignment with operations and senior management.

The role covers monthly close, reporting, capital and operating budgets, and internal controls compliance. Strong Excel, GAAP knowledge, and cross‑functional collaboration are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in accounting and/or 3 years of public accounting.
• Demonstrated knowledge and application of GAAP.
• Excellent analytical skills.
• Must be highly computer literate, including advanced use of Excel.
• Must be able to establish effective working relationships with Senior Management and Staff at all levels of the organization.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• MBA preferred; CPA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, monitor, coordinate, and analyze Budget and Business plans for the PSD network.
• Assist in monthly financial information related to assigned areas.
• Collaborate with Operations, controllers, financial analysts, Administrative Directors, and the Executive Office on analyses, projections, and budgets.
• Oversee monthly close, reporting, and internal controls compliance.
• Support PeopleSoft general ledger build and maintenance and outsourced accounting functions.
