Job summary

The Oregon Health Authority, based in Salem, seeks a Senior Budget Analyst to support the Budget Planning and Analysis Unit. You will conduct complex forecasting, monitor budgets, and analyze how programs are funded, ensuring financial integrity while aligning with statutory and policy goals.

You will contribute to policy strategy, provide financial data to executives and legislators, and help coordinate research on health inequities reduction through budget analyses.

Qualifications

• Six years of progressively responsible experience in budget preparation, analysis and administration.
• Experience must include modeling and forecasting fiscal information.

Responsibilities

• Support Budget Planning and Analysis Unit with budget monitoring and forecasting.
• Analyze financial impacts of proposed policies and provide data for decision makers.
• Assist management and staff with budget development and revenue projections.
