Job summary

Welltower is seeking a Budget Analyst to drive fund-level capital planning, funding execution, and financial analysis for our senior living and wellness-focused real estate portfolio. The role oversees budgets, purchasing, and financial controls while partnering with Capital and cross-functional teams.

The ideal candidate will have 2–3 years of financial analysis experience in real estate, strong analytical and communication skills, and a Bachelor's degree in a related field.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of financial analysis or business analytics experience, real estate background preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or related field.
• Strong analytical, time-management, and communication skills.
• Experience with capital budgeting and fund-level financial analysis is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Participate in annual budgeting and reforecasting for the fund.
• Aggregate and analyze project-level cost data for fund-level analysis.
• Collaborate with Asset Management and Capital teams to align projects with fund objectives.
• Develop tracking tools and perform variance analysis to support performance.
• Create monthly, quarterly, and annual fund-level dashboards.
• Evaluate revenue opportunities and support major capital investments.
• Prepare ad hoc financial analyses and reports for senior management.
