Tasty Brands in Jericho, NY is seeking a Bids Manager to oversee complex bid opportunities from review to submission, award analysis and post-bid follow-up.

The role requires attention to detail, ability to coordinate pricing, ensure compliance and collaborate across Sales, Finance, Marketing and Operations. You will also lead two direct reports and drive opportunities to support growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Finance, Marketing or related field.
• 5+ years in bids, proposals, contracts, procurement, pricing, or related commercial functions with team leadership.
• K-12 school foodservice, USDA Foods or public-sector procurement experience preferred.
• Ability to independently manage complex, high-value and deadline-driven bid opportunities.
• Strong analytical, financial, organizational and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Advanced Excel skills; experience with large pricing or bid data sets.
• CRM experience required; Salesforce preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication; cross-department collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Manage K-12 bids, RFPs and commodity-processing opportunities from receipt through submission and award follow-up.
• Review bid documents, specifications, pricing requirements, contractual terms, forms and submission instructions for accuracy and compliance.
• Partner with Sales, Brokers, Finance, Marketing, Product Development, Commodities, Operations and leadership to develop bid strategy.
• Analyze market baskets, prior awards, competitive pricing, hard-spec and like-item opportunities, product gaps and risks.
• Coordinate required documentation such as specification sheets, CN labels, nutritional/allergen information, Buy American details, certifications, COIs.
• Prepare, review and document pricing including approved price lists and deviated pricing requests.
• Track bid deadlines, samples, questions, signatures, approvals and other milestones.
• Maintain bid data in Salesforce and other systems.
• Review award results and share competitive insights with Sales and leadership.
• Manage and develop two direct reports.
