Job summary

ABRAMS seeks a BI Developer & Analyst to join the Strategic Development & Supply Chain teams in New York, NY. You will build, maintain, and optimize reporting across sales, inventory, metadata, and operations to inform strategic decisions.

You will collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Contracts, and Publicity to translate business needs into scalable reporting solutions, combining development skills with analytics to uncover trends and improve reporting accuracy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Statistics, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or a related quantitative field.
• Experience developing Power BI reports, dashboards, and data models.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the MS Office Suite.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to interpret complex data and translate findings into clear insights.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Understand the data pipeline and data lake structure to make information accessible for reporting and analysis.
• Partner with the data engineering team to unlock new data flows and improve data availability.
• Build Power BI reports, dashboards, and visualizations from the ground up based on evolving business needs.
• Work with end users to refine report usability, filtering, and visualization quality.
• Troubleshoot report performance issues, including load times and data refresh problems.
• Analyze sales, inventory, and operational data to identify trends and actionable insights.
• Maintain and distribute recurring reports used by leadership and cross-functional teams.
• Perform routine data validation and quality checks to ensure accuracy across systems.
• Support data modeling and analytical projects that inform strategic planning and forecasting.
• Produce ad hoc reporting for business reviews, performance analysis, and strategic initiatives.
• Contribute analytical insights that communicate performance, trends, and opportunities.
• Support special projects involving large datasets and cross-departmental analysis.
• Maintain organized datasets, documentation, and reporting tools used across departments.
