Job summary

Villeroy & Boch Group (Ideal Standard) seeks a BI Engineer to refine reporting and analytics, building ETL in SAP BW4/HANA, Datasphere, and Google BigQuery, and crafting frontend apps in SAC, AfO, and Google Data Studio.

You will collaborate with business users, model processes with BPMN 2.0, and enable end-users through training and up-to-date documentation across the data catalog and dashboard finder.

Qualifications

• Educational background in a quantitative/technical field.
• Strong analytical and structured communication skills.
• Experience with BPMN 2.0 process modeling and data-driven analysis.
• Hands-on experience building and maintaining ETL in SAP BI ecosystem (BW4/HANA, Datasphere, SAC).
• Deep S/4HANA process knowledge in at least two modules.
• Experience with modern BI/cloud stack (BigQuery, Data Studio).
• Fluency in English; German is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Requirement Engineering & Consulting with business users to define reporting requirements.
• Backend & ETL development: maintain ETL in SAP BW4/HANA, Datasphere, and BigQuery.
• Frontend development: dashboards in SAC, AfO, and Google Data Studio.
• Administration & Support: monitoring, user management in BW4/HANA & Datasphere.
• Enablement & Documentation: train users; maintain data catalog and dashboard finder, using AI tools where applicable.
