Walgreens is seeking a Manager, Benefits to shape and run health, welfare, and wellbeing programs. You will lead design, administration, and optimization while ensuring cost-effectiveness and alignment with corporate strategy.

The role partners with Legal, HR, Finance, Procurement, and external vendors to deliver innovative benefits and a best-in-class member experience. Your responsibilities include managing Open Enrollment, vendor relationships, plan renewals, and regulatory compliance, while

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree with 2+ years in benefits administration or 5+ years with HS/GED.
• 2+ years of data analysis for issue identification and improvement.
• 2+ years of benefits administration experience.
• Experience handling confidentiality in HR/benefits.
• Intermediate Microsoft Office and Teams skills.
• Experience with HRIS systems (SAP/People Central) and timekeeping (Kronos).
• Strong knowledge of U.S. benefits regulations.
• Experience managing vendors and large-scale programs.
• Strong analytical, communication and project management skills.
• At least 1 year in leadership or cross-functional leadership.

Responsibilities

• Design, manage, and optimize health, welfare, and wellbeing programs.
• Oversee administration, compliance, and communication of plans; partner with vendors.
• Lead vendor relationships, renewals, and performance reviews.
• Plan, communicate, and execute Open Enrollment activities.
• Ensure ERISA, ACA, HIPAA, IRS, and DOL compliance.
• Analyze plan performance and recommend improvements.
• Develop complex benefits communications and documentation.
• Collaborate with Legal, HR, IT, and other stakeholders.
