Job summary

CVS Health Corporation is seeking an experienced provider relations professional to manage high-profile behavioral health providers within Medicaid. You will oversee contract language, claims issues, and provider education, while building strategic relationships with providers and internal teams.

Ideal candidates will have extensive healthcare experience, strong communication skills, and be able to travel up to 80% within Louisiana.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years' work experience in healthcare.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in Medicaid Managed Care environment servicing providers.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience working with providers and contracts in behavioral health.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Willingness to travel 50–80% within defined territory.
• Residence in Louisiana, in listed parishes.

Responsibilities

• Acts as the primary resource for Behavioral Health providers to address Medicaid policies, plan design, contracts, service, claims or compensation issues, and education needs.
• Optimize interactions with providers and internal partners to maintain productive relationships.
• Monitor service capabilities and collaborate cross-functionally to resolve issues such as claims payment and contract interpretation.
• Support operational activities including database management and contract coordination.
• Perform credentialing support activities as needed and educate providers on policy compliance.
• Meet with key providers regularly to ensure service levels meet expectations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on provider enablement and provider-facing communications.
• Guide and train less experienced team members where appropriate.
