Job summary

WilmerHale, a leading international law firm, seeks a Business Development Specialist (Transactional) in San Francisco. You will support revenue-generating and marketing initiatives across practice groups and industries, including pitch development, events, sponsorships, and market intelligence to help win new business.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Prepares sophisticated pitch materials and tailored marketing collateral.
• Supports and leads firm events, managing invitations, RSVPs and follow-up.
• Coordinates sponsorships and memberships to maximize benefits.
• Conducts research on companies, industries, and competitors for pitches.
• Gathers intelligence on legal industry trends to inform attorneys.
• Leads development of legal directory submissions (Chambers USA, Legal 500).
• Supports marketing communications activities including website updates and attorney bio updates.
• Onboards lateral and/or new partners with research deliverables for client meetings.
• Maintains experience/content database and generates reports as needed.
• Performs special projects for Business Development leadership.
