Job summary

BMO U.S. is seeking an experienced Audit professional to conduct engagements and provide independent assurance on internal controls, risk management, and governance processes. You will influence stakeholders, develop annual audit plans, and deliver high-quality reports with actionable insights.

Responsibilities include utilizing data analytics, identifying control deficiencies, and maintaining independence while collaborating with boards and senior management to protect BMO’s reputation.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant experience with post-secondary degree or equivalent
• Professional designations such as CIA or CPA-Audit
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Collaboration and team skills with ability to influence
• Data-driven decision making and analytical capabilities

Responsibilities

• Acts as trusted advisor to assigned business/group
• Identifies emerging issues to inform decision-making
• Develops annual audit plan and executes audits
