Job summary

Talley LLP in Orange, California is seeking a Senior Manager of Audit & Assurance to lead engagements end to end, drive process improvements, and catalyze the adoption of AI tools across the department. Qualifications

Active CPA license (California) required.
Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field.
8–10 years of audit and assurance experience in public accounting, including at least 5 years in a management role.
Strong command of GAAP and auditing standards; ability to apply to non-template situations.
Willingness to travel to client sites as needed.

Responsibilities

Lead engagements end to end, including budget, staffing, and timeline.
Mentor staff and push for critical thinking beyond a checklist.
Evaluate and roll out new software, AI tools, and process improvements.
Build stronger ties with cross-functional teams (Tax, Legal, CAS, Consulting, Wealth Management).
Deliver high-quality audits and develop client relationships as a trusted resource.
