Talley LLP in Orange, California (Hybrid) seeks a Senior Manager of Audit & Assurance on a Partner-Track path to lead, grow, and innovate within the firm. You will guide engagements, mentor teams, and expand cross-functional services across Tax, CAS, Consulting, and Wealth Management while maintaining client relationships.

The role emphasizes leadership, GAAP expertise, and leveraging AI/tools to improve audits and client outcomes in a fast-moving, entrepreneurial environment.

Qualifications

• Active CPA license in California required.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow the Audit & Assurance practice, including cross-functional collaboration with Tax, CAS, Consulting, and Wealth Management teams.
• Own engagements end-to-end: planning, budgeting, staffing, fieldwork, and reporting.
• Develop and mentor staff; drive AI/tools adoption and process improvements.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships; identify cross-selling opportunities.
• Deliver high-quality financial statements and disclosures, with consideration for non-standard opinions when needed.
• Lead department meetings, training sessions, and budgeting/variance tracking.
