Job summary

EisnerAmper is seeking a Director to join our North America assurance practice in New York. You will lead audit engagements, collaborate on audit strategy, manage client expectations, and oversee staff development while ensuring quality and risk controls.

The role requires a CPA with 9+ years in audit/assurance, preferred Master’s in Accounting, and supervisory experience. We value client service, collaboration, and professional integrity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent field.
• 9+ years of progressive audit and/or assurance experience.
• CPA.
• Experience with commercial or financial services clients.
• Master’s degree in Accounting or equivalent field.
• 5+ years of supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate to plan audit objectives and determine an audit strategy
• Lead multiple audit engagements and competing priorities
• Review and examine, and analyze accounting records, financial statements, and other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards
• Maintain active communication with clients to manage expectations, ensure satisfaction, and lead change efforts effectively
• Understand and manage firm risk on audits and proposals
• Supervise, train and mentor staff during engagement
• Assess performance of staff for engagement evaluations
