Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking an Assortment Planner at our corporate office in Chesapeake, VA, to help define and optimize our product assortment strategy. You will collaborate with Category Directors and Merchants to develop and maintain assortment plans and evaluate item performance.

You will deliver data-driven recommendations and work with Merchandising, Inventory, and Store Operations to ensure alignment with broader business objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business/analytics or related field.
• 1+ years in assortment planning, merchandising, or related analytic role.
• Experience with assortment planning software and analytical tools.
• Strong analytical mindset and ability to translate data into recommendations.
• Ability to influence stakeholders and communicate across teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide analytical support for PLRs and BRs with data-driven insights.
• Develop and maintain assortment plans aligned with category strategy and financial goals.
• Use assortment optimization tools to evaluate item and store clustering for recommendations.
