Montefiore Health System in Bronx, NY seeks an Assistant General Counsel to provide legal advice across the organization, serving directors, administrators, clinicians, and executives. You will offer strategic guidance on a broad range of healthcare and business matters and partner with operational leaders to mitigate risk.

Formación

• JD from an accredited law school.
• Licensed to practice law in New York.
• At least 5 years of significant transactional legal experience.
• Healthcare industry experience is a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, client service, problem solving, and negotiation skills.

Responsabilidades

• Provide legal advice and strategic guidance across the organization.
• Advise on healthcare laws and regulations and draft/ negotiate contracts.
• Support commercial transactions and address IT and data use issues, including AI initiatives.
• Handle clinical service arrangements, physician practice acquisitions, HIPAA and privacy matters.
• Oversee governance, regulatory compliance, IP, and patient care-related legal matters, partnering with leaders to mitigate risk.
