Job summary

Broadband Hospitality, based in Youngstown, Ohio, is seeking an experienced Assistant Controller to join our accounting team onsite at our Youngstown office. This role reports to the SVP of Finance and drives day-to-day accounting operations and financial reporting.

You will oversee the general ledger, internal controls, budgeting and forecasting, and analyses, while supervising AP/AR and payroll. The position requires a BA/BS in accounting or finance and 3+ years of experience, with proficiency

Qualifications

• BA/BS in accounting or finance required.
• 3+ years of accounting or finance experience.
• Strong GAAP knowledge and financial reporting skills.
• Experience with accounts payable/receivable and general ledger is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and consolidates monthly/ quarterly/ annual financial statements.
• Ensure GAAP compliance and internal controls.
• Manage the general ledger, journal entries, and reconciliations.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Oversee AP, AR, and payroll under SVP of Finance.
• Identify process improvements to improve efficiency.
