JPMorgan Chase is seeking an Analyst to join the Consumer Fraud Risk Analytics & Intelligent Reporting team. You will develop analytical insights into fraud strategies, automate intelligent solutions, and ensure compliant reporting to leadership.

You will work with risk partners to anticipate new threats, communicate with senior stakeholders, and contribute to product and strategy development in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in analytics, business intelligence, strategy & analytics, or a related role.
  • Strong SQL & SAS skills and experience with large datasets; ability to validate results and troubleshoot data issues.
  • Experience building dashboards and recurring reporting and communicating insights to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated project management skills—manage timelines, dependencies, and stakeholder communications across multiple workstreams.

Responsibilities

  • Data interpretation: analyze large volumes of data to identify risk dynamics, trends and opportunities.

Job description

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Analyst to join our Consumer Fraud Risk Analytics & Intelligent Reporting team. In this role, you will focus on developing analytical insights into the strategies employed by our risk partners to identify and mitigate fraud. You will be responsible for creating, automating, and deploying intelligent solutions that address the reporting and analytical needs of the business line. Additionally, you will ensure that compliance and control requirements are met, providing timely and reliable information to the appropriate audience.

As a Strategic Reporting Analyst within the JPMorgan Chase Consumer Banking Fraud Risk Analytics & Intelligence team, you will play a pivotal role in identifying and anticipating new and emerging risks and trends. You will collaborate with key stakeholders to assess risk factors and apply your expert judgment to address challenges that affect our company, customers, and communities. Job Responsibilities
  • Data Interpretation: Analyze large volumes of complex data to formulate problem statements and draw concise conclusions about underlying risk dynamics, trends, and opportunities.
  • Risk Indicators and Metrics: Identify and develop key risk indicators and metrics, enhance existing reporting mechanisms, and explore new analytical areas to improve fraud detection.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional partners to understand and address key business challenges.
  • Communication and Presentation: Exhibit exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively communicate with diverse audiences, including senior leadership.
  • Independent Problem Solving: Demonstrate the ability to work independently, taking ownership of problem-solving from start to finish.
  • Strategy and Product Development: Collaborate with Product Risk managers and other stakeholders to support the development and monitoring of new strategies and products.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in analytics, business intelligence, business analysis, strategy & analytics, or a related role
  • Strong SQL & SAS skills and experience working with large datasets; ability to validate results and troubleshoot data issues
  • Strong financial analytical skills with the ability to extract business insights from complex data structures
  • Experience building dashboards and recurring reporting and communicating insights to non-technical stakeholders
  • Demonstrated project management skills—able to manage timelines, dependencies, and stakeholder communications across multiple workstreams.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and flexibly adapt to change with excellent analytical storytelling skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to turn ambiguous questions into structured problem statements and requirements
  • High attention to detail and comfort operating in a controlled environment with data governance and privacy expectations.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • Experience in Financial Services (Banking/Digital Banking preferred)
  • Minimum 3 years of hands‑on experience in Financial Data analytics
  • Hands‑on development experience with SQL for large financial data
