Job summary

Quicksilver Scientific is seeking an experienced Analytical Lab Director to lead our Louisville, CO laboratory operations. You will drive sample workflow, supervise staff, and ensure regulatory compliance with CLIA and FDA standards.

Ideal candidates possess a PhD in a relevant science, 10+ years of management in analytical chemistry, and board certification. This role offers a base salary of $150,000–$160,000 with annual performance bonuses and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• PhD in chemical, physical, biological, or clinical lab science required.
• 10+ years of analytical chemistry management experience.
• Board certification by ABB/ABCC/ABMM/ABMGG or equivalent.
• Proficiency with HPLC, GC-MS, LC-MS/MS, ICP-MS.
• Strong cross-functional leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Direct day-to-day operation of the laboratory to ensure smooth sample flow.
• Lead, mentor, and develop analytical lab staff; manage performance reviews.
• Recruit and train new hires; work with HR on staffing and onboarding.
• Develop and refine SOPs; ensure regulatory compliance (CLIA, FDA).
• Oversee instrument maintenance and periodic procurement of new equipment.
