Job summary

OpenAI is seeking a Strategic Delivery Lead for the Intelligence Community. You will own end-to-end delivery of high-impact AI deployments, translating mission priorities into secure, technically feasible solutions built on OpenAI APIs and enterprise products.

This role requires deep program-management expertise, executive acumen, and readiness to work in classified environments, with up to 50% travel and on-site IC engagement.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience leading technical programs, enterprise AI or cloud deployments.
• Experience with intelligence mission transformation or national security consulting.
• Active TS/SCI clearance with ability to meet access requirements (preferred).
• Ability to travel up to 50% and work on-site with IC customers.
• Ability to translate mission outcomes into technical requirements and exec-level communications.

Responsibilities

• Build trusted relationships with IC mission owners and leaders to identify high-value AI use cases.
• Deliver complex IC engagements from discovery through production deployment and adoption.
• Translate mission requirements into clear technical plans and architecture decisions.
• Lead cross-functional teams across engineering, product, security, and legal.
• Ensure delivery governance, milestone tracking, and measurable mission impact.
