Deloitte’s Strategy & Transactions team, including SFL Scientific, is seeking a Data Scientist to collaborate directly with clients to design and develop novel AI-driven solutions. You will work with interdisciplinary teams to build end-to-end data products and AI services in a consulting environment.

Qualifications

• Master's or Ph.D. in a relevant STEM field.
• 2+ years of AI/ML algorithm development using Python and frameworks (PyTorch).
• 2+ years applying traditional ML and deep learning techniques in real-world projects.
• 2+ years deploying and optimizing ML models using Kubernetes, Docker, and related tools.
• 2+ years of experience in cloud environments (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Willing to travel ~10% and reside within commuting distance to Deloitte offices.

Responsibilities

• Define data strategy and drive technical development for AI/ML solutions.
• Collaborate with clients to understand data sets, strategy, and requirements.
• Research and implement novel ML approaches and framework designs.
• Validate AI models via code reviews and tests; ensure production readiness.
• Support project performance prioritization and business impact of AI solutions.
• Coordinate with data engineers, scientists, and business teams to align with objectives.
