Job summary

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of experience or Master's with 6+ years in supply chain/contract management
- Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems
- Ability to obtain and maintain DoD Secret clearance; aerospace/defense background preferred
Responsibilities
- Source and procure hardware components, COTS items, machined parts, services, and software for programs
- Resolve procurement challenges in sole/single-source, non-comparable pricing, or scope ambiguity
- Interpret drawings, specs, statements of work, and engineering changes for procurement decisions
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams during proposals to align procurement strategy with requirements
- Lead sourcing across diverse commodity portfolios, including emerging technologies
- Request and evaluate quotations/proposals and analyze pricing from suppliers
- Collaborate with quality to monitor supplier quality and delivery reliability
- Ensure specifications meet internal customer needs for services or products
- Interface with Programs and Global Supply Chain partners to drive procurement
- Plan, schedule, and organize activities to achieve objectives
- Maintain outstanding written and verbal communication; stay highly organized
- Assess supplier performance as part of post-award follow-up
