Ensign-Bickford Aerospace & Defense Company in Moorpark, CA is seeking a Buyer to manage indirect and production-related purchasing. You will report to the Purchasing Manager and coordinate supplier RFQs, POs, and supply Kanbans while ensuring on-time delivery and compliance with CPSR, FAR, and DFARS.

Ideal candidates have a BA/BS in a relevant field and 2–5 years in aerospace procurement, with strong ERP and MS Office skills, detail orientation, and the ability to multi-task in a dynamic

Formación

• BA/BS in Supply Chain, Finance or Business.
• 2–5 years of tactical purchasing in Aerospace/Defense.
• Knowledge of FAR/DFARS and government procurement docs.
• Experience with ERP systems and MS Office tools.

Responsabilidades

• Handle indirect and direct supplier purchasing and sourcing.
• Create and manage RFQs, POs, and supply Kanbans.
• Assess supply base capability, risk, supplier selection and development.
• Negotiate with suppliers and manage on-time delivery and cost.
• Support proposals with procurement input and CPSR considerations.
• Travel as needed (0–10%).
