Job summary

Integrated Cable Systems in Longmont, CO is seeking a detail-oriented Procurement Specialist to source, negotiate, and manage suppliers for cable assembly and wire harness components used in Aerospace, Defense and Specialty manufacturing.

You will lead strategic sourcing, issue POs, monitor orders, and maintain ERP records (Epicor, SAP, Oracle). Strong Excel skills and compliance with ITAR/DFARS/FAR and AS9100 are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business, or related field preferred.
• 5+ years purchasing experience.
• Good understanding of inventory and service objectives.
• Excellent communications skills with suppliers, customers, and internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Strategic sourcing: identify, evaluate, and qualify suppliers for cable assembly, wire harness, and connectors.
• PO management: issue, track, and expedite purchase orders; maintain procurement records in ERP/MRP.
• Data analysis & ERP reporting: run spend, supplier performance, and inventory reports; support forecasting.
• Cost control & inventory optimization: drive cost reductions while maintaining quality and delivery.
• Cross-functional collaboration: partner with Engineering, Sales, Planning, and Finance to align procurement with business goals.
